    4. Are there any additional costs or hidden charges?
No. Once you have paid the annual membership fee ($100) there are no other charges to use the boats other than the cost of fuel, which is charged, on an engine hour basis and training which is charged on an $75 hourly rate basis. You are fully insured and covered by Anchorage Marine Underwriting agency Pty Ltd, but you should read the terms of the insurance carefully as there are a number of conditions and exclusions, as well as an excess ($1500) you must pay if you have any claims. Talk to us if you want more details about these.

    7. How does the Points System work?
You choose the Points Package that suits you (Silver, Gold or Platinum) and you receive a certain number of Points. You use these Points to take out the boats, just like Frequent Flyer Points. The number of Points you need to use depends on the boat you choose, the day(s) you want to use it, and the season. Use the easy Points Calculator to see just how many Points each boat requires. If you have a range of outings both weekends and weekdays throughout the year, you should get approx. 15 - 25 outings on a Silver package and up to 55 outings on a Platinum package.

    13. Will you be changing the fleet?
Yes, we will be adding new boats as the membership grows (so the more friends you get to join, the more boats you all get to enjoy!). We will also be rotating the current fleet as each boat reaches 3 years of age to bring in different boats based on what the Members want - you will be regularly asked to give us your preferences to help us buy just what you want to drive.
